The goal of this project was to analyze Open Street Maps (OSM) data on drinking fountains in Germany. The focus was on determining the number of listed drinking fountains per 1,000 inhabitants in various cities and comparing this data with the official figures from some cities. Additionally, the quality of the metadata was evaluated by comparing it with the defined mandatory attributes, including features such as fountain type, refillability, accessibility, public availability, and further information.
