With our educational offerings on data literacy, data storytelling, AI, and much more, we want to empower associations, non-profit organizations, and other committed individuals to simplify and automate data-based decisions and processes, and to communicate their impact.
CorrelCompact
Our “CorrelCompact” workshop series is aimed at a broad audience from civil society and is open to everyone interested in the topic. The focus is on exchange between engaged people, whether professional or volunteer. The workshops usually take place online and in German, last one hour, and are free of charge.

Ongoing discussions about Artificial Intelligence (AI) show that AI competencies have become central and indispensable. Be it knowledge about the technological foundations, opportunities and risks for nonprofit organizations, considerations for deployment, guidelines for use, or the new legal framework through the EU AI Act. This workshop offers a practical introduction to the topic of AI and is aimed at nonprofit organizations and other civil society actors who want to gain orientation and foundational knowledge for the responsible use of AI.

Open data is freely accessible information that can help you and other nonprofit organizations shape social change.
Can you imagine making data from your organization publicly available, or are you looking for publicly accessible datasets? Then our Open Data Introduction Workshop is the right place for you! We explain the basics of open data, the functionalities of the Datenatlas Zivilgesellschaft, and organizational, technical, and legal requirements. In addition to tips for getting started, there is space for exchange with other interested people. We conduct this workshop on behalf of the Bertelsmann Stiftung.
