Salt & ContentEducation
Salt & ContentCorrelAid assists non-profits in developing and expanding their data literacy. To this end, workshops and courses on various topics are offered.
With our educational offerings on data literacy, data storytelling, AI, and much more, we want to empower associations, non-profit organizations, and other committed individuals to simplify and automate data-based decisions and processes, and to communicate their impact.
Data4Good Volunteering
Our “Data4Good Volunteering” workshop series prepares you for your volunteer work at CorrelAid – whether you want to participate in data projects or help as a tutor in our data courses. Participation is voluntary, but it gives you valuable knowledge, practical tips, and confidence for your engagement. You will receive a certificate of participation, which is positively considered when we assemble teams for volunteer Data4Good projects.
Event CalendarCommunity Workshops
Our community workshops are aimed at a broad audience and are open to everyone in our network. In this virtual, free format, members of our Data4Good community teach technical topics to our volunteers and all other interested people. There is also space for questions and exchange.
Here is a selection of topics from community workshops in recent years:
- Git & Github for Beginners
- Ethical AI in Practice
- Web Scraping with R
- Hosting your own Data Projects
- Working with Geodata
- Pattern Matching (NLP)
We are always open to new ideas and topic suggestions. If you have a wish for a topic or would like to offer a community workshop yourself, feel free to contact our education team at education@correlaid.org.
Community workshops are held in German or English, depending on the arrangement.
