We’re the Cologne chapter of CorrelAid, a network of volunteer data enthusiasts using their passion for social good. We team up with non-profit organizations on project-based collaborations – helping them make sense of their data, measure their impact, and tackle real-world challenges. This fourth meetup is a hands-on workshop on DuckDB, a database for analytical workloads explicitly engineered to be simple, fast, feature-rich and free that runs on your laptop. This fits the bill when it comes to volunteer projects for nonprofits where we often cannot afford the cloud. Too good to be true? Join this beginner-friendly workshop to try it out for yourself!
