CorrelAid helps nonprofits use data to measure their impact: whether it’s analyzing a survey, creating an impact report, or building a new dashboard—we connect volunteer data scientists with nonprofit organizations.

Data4Good—that means using data expertise to do good! At CorrelAid, we connect volunteer data experts with nonprofit organizations that need support. From building a new database to conducting impact surveys to automating processes with AI tools, we bring people together so that nonprofits can do even more good.

At the heart of CorrelAid is our Data4Good community of over 2,400 volunteer data scientists who want to use their skills for good causes.

In our pro bono skilled volunteering projects, we match teams of 3-8 of these volunteers with nonprofits and initiatives that need support with their data challenges. This creates a win-win situation: our data scientists get the opportunity to apply their skills in practice and learn new ones, while nonprofit organizations and initiatives receive support in solving their data challenges.

Both the domain expertise of our project partners and the technical expertise of our volunteers are equally important to the success of our projects. That’s why we always work on eye level with our nonprofit partners.

We present some of the over 70 completed projects in our project database.

Get Involved

If you also want to get involved in using data for a good cause, then CorrelAid is the right place for you. As a volunteer, you can become active in one of our Data4Good projects or participate in hackathons and data dialogues.

We are always looking for volunteers who would like to get involved in organizing these activities, e.g. through online volunteering.
