CorrelCon 2023 - it's data time!

About CorrelCon

**Day 1 - CorrelAid Friday from 5PM to 8PM**
Upon arrival on Friday, we start with a presentation on the current status of CorrelAid and the CorrelAid community. This is the perfect introduction to CorrelAid for newbies but also an update opportunity for old CorrelAiders. Later, 2-3 CorrelAid projects will present their work to give an idea of what’s possible with Data4Good. We will end the evening with a networking session, beers and lemonade.
**Day 2 - Data4Good Saturday from 10AM to 6PM**
Saturday is your day: There will be discussions and workshops, provided by members of the CorrelAid Community for the CorrelAid Community.
We offer 30, 60 and 90 minute sessions within these 3 topics:

1. Coding & Tech
2. Data4Good
3. Networking & Career
   Examples for typical sessions include introductions to Python, R or Git and advanced sessions on web scraping, data gathering, on statistical methods, the newest algorithms or writing your own R-package. For more inspiration, check out the collections of the past CorrelCons.

   **Day 3 - Community Sunday from 10PM to 12PM**
   On Sunday, we will dive into **internal topics**. Get to know the different teams that help us make CorrelAid e.V. great and give you the opportunity to get involved. One conference can make all the difference. Get inspired.

Hard facts, travel and accommodation

* Jugendherberge (youth hostel) Magdeburg, Leiterstr. 10, 39104 Magdeburg
* Workshops, talks, networking, party
* CorrelAid pays for 2 nights accommodation in the youth hostel, breakfast and dinner
* Travel cannot be covered completely, but can be subsidized with travel grants of ~50 Euro. If you need more financial assistance to travel, please ✉️contact us!
Only 30 spots in the youth hostel are available on a first-come first-serve basis so make sure to register soon! If you want to participate without staying in the youth hostel, that’s also possible. **Registration closes October 12th.**
