  to setup\, use and adapt small language models (SLM) running locally on y

 s not only technical but much more importantly:\n- to raise awareness on a
 lternatives to the usual online AI solutions\n- to give agency and choices
  back to users of AI\, for fitting use cases at least\, and \n- to discuss
  how such alternatives align with the Code of Conduct Democratic AI\n\nLoc
 al-first SLM may also be a better fit when it comes to vounteer projects f
 or nonprofits\, where we often cannot afford paying online subscriptions.\
 n\nToo good to be true? Join this beginner-friendly workshop to try SLM ou
 t for yourself!  If you have NEVER heard of SLM\, Llama.cpp\, Ollama\, LMS
 tudio\, llamafile and RAG before\, this workshop is for you.  On the other
  hand if you already have some experience on SLM and would like to dive de
 eper with us\, kindly stay tuned for the follow-up\, more advanced worksho

 command line interfaces (CLI)\n- Using SLM with graphical user interfaces 
 (GUI)\n- Using SLM from the Python programming language\n- Adapting an exi
 sting SLM with private or the latest info\n- Open exchange on pros\, cons
