Our network offers you a a wide range of opportunities to get involved and connect with other young data analysts. Join our network now.
At the core of CorrelAid are our data for good projects. As part of a team consisting of 3-7 members, you’ll help a social organization to generate valuable insights from their data. Projects are traditionally announced on our network email list, so it’s best if you join in here! You can find an overview over past projects here.
If you are in contact with an non-profit organization that has interesting data but does not know what to do with it, let Arndt know about them. We're also looking to expand our project branch. Hence, if you already have some experience in consulting and you want to help us doing that, Johannes would be happy to hear from you.
Once or twice a year, we meet up somewhere in Germany at our Germany Meetup. Whether in Berlin, Duisburg or Bonn: You will get to know a lot of like-minded people in the workshops, discussions and nightly adventures. You can read up on past meetups here and here.
Medium term, we want to found local chapters in cities with a lot of interest in data for good in order to empower you to organize workshops and hackathons on your own or just to meet cool like-minded people. If you’re interested to start a local chapter in your town or you’re just interested in whether there are already people in your town, drop an Email to Yuzhu.
Our network is the perfect place to exchange knowledge. During workshops at our Germany meetups, you can share your skills and knowledge. And in our #netzwerk-help Slack channel (see below on how to get into Slack), all questions have been answered at last. Finally, we plan to establish a webinar series and a knowledge database. Whether you want to learn new stuff or you want to share your knowlegde - both is possible at CorrelAid!
Our blog is back! Be it a side/uni project or an interesting event you visited: share it on our blog and become a guest blogger. If you want to share your experiences with our network and the general public, you should definitely get in touch with our editor-in-chief Lisa.
You know of a cool event, you have a job offer you’d like our network to know about or you know some good data science resources? Great! We love to hear from you! Send an email to Rahel.
CorrelAid is run by the core team, a team of 10-15 volunteers. All the daily coordination and organization happens on Slack and we’re always super happy about new faces on there. If you want to get involved with the daily organization of CorrelAid, drop an Email to Regina - she will give you access to Slack and send you some more information.
